Prior to starting Damages Legal, Jayne worked for a national legal practice in Sydney for many years and soon realized that bigger isn’t necessarily better. Consequently, she wanted to practice law differently, bringing the personal touch to each claim through the provision of one on one advice from the start of the claim to the conclusion. Jayne brings that little bit of Sydney hustle to make sure the Insurance Companies are always on their toes and paying you the maximum amount of damages.

Daniel doesn’t take himself too seriously.   In contrast he takes very seriously the underhanded untrustworthy nature and business of insurance companies.  In a fairy-tale world he might have been Robin Hood.  Not a big fan of corporate bullies he relishes being on the side of the little guy.  From the day the Supreme Court entered his name on the roll, he refused to serve or join the big end of town.  Where would the fun be in that?  So, from Townsville - to Canberra - to Wollongong - to Sydney - to Las Vegas, and now Brisbane… his crusade against Insurance Companies and the Banks has successfully raged.  Unable to change the world in a day, just making it a fairer place one case at a time.   He isn’t your average lawyer but who wants average anyway?  He is proud of many achievements to date, but outside of his devoted wife and three children, if you asked his crowning glory – he would tell you commencing Damages Legal with the chart-topping and heart-stopping genius, guile, and charm of Jayne Aitken.  Whether it be Las Vegas or Bris-Vegas, when you start with those two on your side it’s the advantage of drawing Aces or Bowers in any hand you’re dealt!
